Problem

To enable the Arval and Auto Trader consumer web applications to be synchronised and managed in real time using the Arval internal stock management platform. Existing CSV batch file processing meant time sensitive changes were having to be made using multiple systems creating wasted resource.

Solution

Arval integrated their inventory management application directly into the Auto Trader API to ensure that when inventory was added, updated or removed from that application, it was reflected on the Auto Trader marketplace in real time.

Outcome

Advertising of vehicles on the Arval Auto Select website and the Auto Trader marketplace managed via a single application, allowing synchronicity of vehicle information on both platforms in real time. Reducing resource in dual keying of data as well as consumer risk on items like price discrepancy or sold inventory.
